Christian Weinert is a final-year PhD student at the Cryptography and Privacy Engineering Group (ENCRYPTO) at TU Darmstadt, Germany. His research focuses mainly on the design, implementation, and evaluation of practical private set intersection protocols (PSI) for privacy-preserving applications. For his works on mobile private contact discovery, he received the German IT-Security Award 2020.
